Evoke is seeking a Senior Windows Administrator to join our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Provides network and infrastructure management and operations support across FCC locations.
  • Respond to FCC Network Security Operations Center in response to security incidents.
  • Works with team members and other teams to ensure 24O7O365 mission critical applications availability, reliability and performance.
  • Monitor performance for all core services and network devices, to include internal- and external-facing FCC applications and databases.
  • maintain all Active Directory (AD) services, WAN services and devices, and the FCC's Office 365 tenant.
  • Guide and develop new designs, architectures, standards and methods for large-scale distributed systems.
  • Keep servers, load-balancers, and data storage in service across various locations.
  • Assist with planning service capacity, forecasting demand, analyzing software performance, and tuning systems.
  • Coordinate, with close assistance from Evoke's corporate team, security, staffing, and conflict of interest issues.
  • Identify, communicate, and escalate risks and issues.

Education and Years of Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or another engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience in a Windows administrator role.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a Public Trust clearance.
  • Must have comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft technologies including AD, O365, Teams, SCCM/Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Azure/AWS, Intune.
  • Must have significant Windows 10/11 experience.
  • Must have comprehensive knowledge and experience with VMware, HyperV, etc.., ITSM tool (ServiceNow, Remedy), and scripting (e.g., PowerShell).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience using SolarWinds and/or Dynatrace
  • Exposer to databases (Oracle)
  • MCSE certification
  • ServiceNow ITSM experience

Security Clearance

  • Applicants selected must be eligible to work in the United States, be subject to a government security investigation, and meet eligibility requirements for access to protected information.

Work Location

  • Washington, DC. This is an onsite position.
