Why This Job
CMC's Tensar Division is searching for Sales Operations Analyst to support our Sales and Sales Operations teams! The primaryresponsibility of this position is to transform Tensar's data into actionable insight for the sales and sales operations teams. This includes creation and measuring of metrics aligned to our core business objectives as well as measuring attainment of those metrics.
What You'll Do
- Assist Sales team with analytical tasks that include but are not limited to: project and metric tracking, reconciliation, report generation, project and price tracking, and field sales calculation
- Transform disparate datasets to actionable insights using CRM data and sales data, develop and monitor KPIs and ROI measures that demonstrate Biz Dev output and lead generation effectiveness
- Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly reports, ensuring to verify data accuracy and understand data fluctuations
- Tracks, sets reminders and follows up on key project activities at key times, including ensuring that field sales activities are coordinated and completed.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends/patterns in complex data sets
- Isolate and analyze variables impacting our sales pipeline
- Support the Sales Team in research, data collection and analysis
- Assist in preparing reports for Sales Manager as requested. (Bid Schedule; Pending Estimates, pending jobs, contract approvals, construction start schedule)
- Customize CRM for branches/business units (page layouts, record types, fields, field dependencies, workflows)
- Maintain pricing files in support of sales organization(s)
- Oversee the manual adjustment process in SAP
- Support process of ensuring that there is an effective and efficient system of internal controls including; data integrity, asset protection, budgeting, financial reporting, and information systems
- Interpret data findings and translate them into actionable recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Attend sales meetings, training and activities; to include performing additional duties as needed
- Create ad-hoc analysis as needed
What You'll Need
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Experience in manufacturing industry a plus
- Proven working experience designing dashboards/reports
- Ability to be thorough and precise when conducting research and be able to accurately share findings
- Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience using PowerBi and creating a variety of business dashboards is a must
- Knowledge of machine learning/AI and SQL preferred
- Strong analytical skills and comfort and familiarity working with data systems and excel to analyze quantitative information
Your Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience required
- Advanced Degree (MBA or MS) preferred
