Department Overview
Ethics Programs provide enterprise-wide management, oversight and collaborative support, including legal advice and counsel, in order to promote PG&E's stand to meet our commitments to all of our stakeholders and make it enjoyable to work with and for PG&E. As a result, employees in the Ethics Programs work in highly visible roles carrying out critical ethics and compliance functions. Team members regularly engage directly with co-workers at all levels of the enterprise, including officers and other senior leaders, as well as senior leaders within external shareholder organizations. In order to carry out these functions, team members may be called upon to utilize with care and discretion highly sensitive and/or privileged information as part of their job duties in order to carry out the mission of the team.

Ethics Programs has primary responsibility for the oversight and management of three workstreams:

1) End-to-end governance and operational execution of the Employee Conduct Program (ECP) for the administration and oversight of all internal investigations, as well as the management of the Ethics & Compliance Helpline;
2) Maintenance and interpretation of the Company's Code of Conduct (Code) as well Training and Communications initiatives associated with the Code and ECP;
and
3) Ongoing external engagement and internal coordination in connection with three outside Monitors who report to three different key external stakeholders.

Ethics Programs team members also provide legal advice and counsel to other functional areas in connection with these core workstreams as well as pending investigations, litigation, physical and cyber-security incidents and associated programs, and other enterprise-wide risks.

The Ethics Program team is led by the Managing Counsel & Senior Director, who reports to the Chief Risk Officer & Senior Vice President, Ethics & Compliance, who leads the Ethics, Risk & Compliance group within the General Counsel organization.

Position Summary

The Senior Business Analyst supports the Ethics Programs team with the intake, collection, and synthesis of data and information received from internal and external stakeholders, data request intake process, and production of materials for PG&E operating review meetings and internal discussions. This individual may also be involved in process improvement, quality control, additional software troubleshooting and enhancements, and special projects and other initiatives.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.

A reasonable salary range is:

Bay Area Minimum: $98,000
Bay Area Maximum: $146,000
&/OR
California Minimum: $93,000
California Maximum: $139,000

Job Responsibilities

* Support data request intake process, including the determination of the appropriate Functional Area and SME to facilitate the identification and collection of the data responsive to the data request
* Produce scheduled and ad hoc data reports for use in internal meetings as well as in connection with reporting to external stakeholders ; having a strong understanding of the reporting requirements is essential as adjusting data parameters will often be necessary.
* Develop and leverage metrics to present recommendations for process improvement and waste elimination to department leaders.
* Provide continuous improvement to matter management system by fulfilling system customization requests, creating, testing and implementing feature enhancements.

Qualifications

Minimum
* Bachelor of Science in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience required
* 4 years of related work experience

Desired
* Experience working at a law firm, internal legal or compliance department, forensic accounting/consulting services, or data management firm
* 5+ years of experience with data collection and data analysis
* Experience creating graphics and visual management of data and data analysis
* 3+ years of experience performing thorough research and resolution of technical system issues
* Experience working with Excel, Powerpoint, OneDrive and other MS-related systems
* 3+ years of experience performing thorough research and resolution of technical system issues
