(Employee Surveys, Check-ins, & Town Halls) The Human Resources Coordinator performs daily administrative tasks and services, partnering with the HR Director to support effective and efficient operations of the Human Resources Department. The HR Coordinator provides a high level of customer service with a strong emphasis on support to employees and assistance with the recruitment and interview process. Essential Job Duties: * Resolves a wide variety of general questions and inquiries for facility staff. Provides routine information to visitors, callers, and employees which requires a good knowledge of Human Resources processes. Direct and escalate issues as appropriate. * Processes new hires regarding pre-employment process. Schedules new hires for orientation and ensures all onboarding documents are completed for the new hire to begin employment. * Ensures the facility is prepared for new hire orientations and facilitates the orientation schedule. Facilitates orientation. * Maintain filing of HR records and assist in performing periodic audits of HR files. * Assist with ad-hoc projects, like collection of employee engagement surveys and new hire check-ins/feedback surveys. * Maintaining employee training records and tracking of education/training. Sending reminders to department leaders of staff due for upcoming trainings. * Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: associate's degree in human resources or closely related field required, bachelor's degree preferred. Experience: related work experience, 1 year required and 2 - 3 years HR office experience or commensurate preferred Skills/Abilities: knowledge of HRIS (data entry) or the ability to quickly learn human resource information system required, Lawson preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Physical Requirements: must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Job Type: Full-time |
