Job Summary:
The Demand Generation Specialist is a key contributor to pipeline growth across the OpenGov Cloud. In this role, you will focus on driving lead acquisition, nurturing prospects, and creating impactful campaigns. This role requires a mix of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate demonstrates a solid understanding of B2B marketing and a passion for achieving measurable results aligned with OpenGov's mission.

Responsibilities:
  • Campaign Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns (email, paid media, webinars, and content syndication).
  • Lead Generation: Collaborate with marketing and sales development teams to create strategies for attracting and converting qualified leads and hitting pipeline targets.
  • Targeted Marketing: Identify and evaluate new vendors, channels, and campaign concepts that align with OpenGov's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and suite-level needs.
  • Budget Management: Manage campaign budgets, ensuring resource allocation aligns with performance targets and ROI expectations.
  • ABM Support: Contribute to Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies by executing targeted campaigns for high-value accounts.
  • Marketing Automation: Use platforms like Marketo and Salesforce to build campaigns, segment audiences, and track results, adjusting tactics as necessary.
  • SEO & SEM: Collaborate with digital marketing experts to ensure campaigns are optimized for search engine performance.
  • Performance Tracking & Campaign Insights: Monitor campaign metrics, produce initial performance reports, and recommend improvements based on findings.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales development, product marketing, content marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment between demand generation activities and broader company objectives.
Requirements and Preferred Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media, Business Analytics, or equivalent is required
  • A minimum of two years of experience in B2B/B2G SaaS advertising experience is required, preferably at a high-growth company with an emphasis on account-based marketing at scale
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and Marketo (or comparable tools) is required; experience with ABM platforms is a plus.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and social advertising platforms is preferred.
  • Goal-driven with a keen interest in search and digital marketing is required
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple campaigns with varying objectives simultaneously is required
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights is required.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external partners, are required
  • Strong writing, grammar, spelling, proofreading, and researching skills are required
On target ranges above include base plus a portion of variable compensation that is earned based on company and individual performance
The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate's geographical location.
