Lincoln Institute of Land Policy Mission
The Lincoln Institute of Land Policy seeks to improve quality of life through the effective use, taxation, and stewardship of land. A nonprofit private operating foundation whose origins date to 1946, the Lincoln Institute researches and recommends creative approaches to land as a solution to economic, social, and environmental challenges. Through education, training, publications, and events, we integrate theory and practice to inform public policy decisions worldwide. With locations in Cambridge, Massachusetts; Washington, DC; Phoenix; and Beijing, we organize our work around six goals: low-carbon, climate-resilient communities and regions;efficient and equitable tax systems;reduced poverty and spatial inequality;fiscally healthy communities and regions;sustainably managed land and water resources;and functional land markets and reduced informality. Team Overview The primary goal of our Accelerating Community Investment (ACI) team is to grow community-based impact investing. We help our network of participants curate and plan investments that meet their organizational and community priorities while delivering investment results to asset holders who invest in the work within their communities. Currently, our team's networks include the ACI National Community of Practice, the ACILab, and the newly established ACI Cohort of the Lincoln Vibrant Communities Fellowship. As the program continues to develop, additional networks are likely to be added to these. Position Overview The Coordinator for our Accelerating Community Investment (ACI) Networks team is a newly created position due to previous growth and desired further impact of the ACI team at the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy. The ideal candidate will be problem-solving, detail-focused, enterprising person who is passionate about growing their subject matter expertise in community-focused investment strategies. This is a full-time, exempt position (37.5 hrs./wk.) This hybrid position will be based in one of our offices either in Cambridge, MA, Washington DC, or Phoenix, AZ. Compensation Overview The salary market range for this role is posted above and dependent on level of education and years of experience.
