Description
The salary and level for this position will be determined after the interview and based on related experience and skills. Hours for this position are: Monday - Friday 8:45 AM - 5:15 PM Role Provides accurate and discreet administrative support on various human resources tasks, including employee record maintenance, benefits enrollment, payroll processing, and audits. Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Exemplifies the core values of CAMPUS while supporting our strategic priorities for members, employees, and community. Maintains the highest standard of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
- Review new hire paperwork, ensuring all necessary forms and policies have been received, signed, and completed accurately
- Responsible for the accurate preparation, documentation, distribution, and reconciliation of payroll
- Track the monthly performance review process and ensure pay calculations align with the merit matrix
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of routine changes including employee transfers, promotions, progressions, 6-month increases, terminations, and retirements in the HRIS system
- Perform random audits on variable pay programs. Ensures monthly incentive and variable pay reports are accurate and archived for support/audit purposes
- Audit the federal I-9 form and complete the checklist to ensure compliance with government regulations
- Provide exceptional service, ensuring all conversations are handled with the utmost confidentiality. Highly responsive to all forms of communication, including emails, chats, phone calls, and in-person conversations
- Team player who can collaborate with employee engagement, training, and recruiting to improve the employee experience
- Enhance professional growth by gaining additional knowledge in human resources
- Monitor and ensure employee leave programs are administered in accordance with policies, leave balances are accurate, adjustments/payouts are correct, and year-end rollovers/distributions are processed timely
Qualifications
Education
- Associate Degree OR
- A combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to perform the essential job functions satisfactorily may be substituted
- Bachelor's degree a plus
Experience
- 0 - 2 years of similar or related experience
- Experience in a professional environment performing administrative and data entry tasks helpful
- Payroll experience a plus
