Role : PD Program Management Director

Location : Dallas TX ( Hybrid role, - In office REQUIRED)

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced program management leader to oversee cross-functional programs and to manage more junior Program Management Directors in support of the strategic direction of Blue Yonder, Inc.

- with a special emphasis on bringing SaaS offerings to market.

A primary focus area for this role pertains to the optimization of Blue Yonder's evaluation methods for accurately monitoring and analyzing overall program strengths, risks, and areas of improvement. The Program Management Director will ensure cross-functional program goals are met in respect to budget, planning, quality, performance and customer satisfaction for a portfolio of programs under this role's purview. To this end, the Intermediate Program Management Director will be responsible for the performance of and enablement for the Program Management Directors who report to him/her.

The Intermediate Program Management Director will also oversee select strategic initiatives and internal "consulting" projects that are defined to improve Blue Yonder's internal product operations. These types of activities will cover a wide range of business domains and require flexibility and strong learning capabilities.

Success will depend on developing, implementing, and managing people, processes, procedures, policies and tools to ensure program goals are achieved. Ability to work with a multi-faceted, cross-functional team including Product Development, Product Management, Marketing, Partner Management, Sales, and Customer Success is a must.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams composed of directors/VPs (and above) from wide-ranging functional areas listed above
  • Plan and execute programs to bring SaaS offerings to market and to convert existing on-premise offerings into full-fledged SaaS solutions
  • Identify and support systemic improvements to program execution through new tools, processes, policies, procedures, standardization of project lifecycle, and best practices capture/sharing to support the organization's strategic goals.
  • Oversee a team of Program Management Directors
  • Work closely with senior management on product strategy, organization initiatives, program reviews and quality management.
  • Perform end-to-end program management starting from inception to customer site deployment of software products.
  • Manage cadence of product metrics review, actions and follow up, short/long term projects to address issues and process improvements
  • Prepare weekly program status reports and communicate with senior management
  • Work across geographical teams to ensure timeline, quality and budget are kept in line with the program expectations.
  • Innovatively identify and resolve business problems by working from the ground up and engaging senior executives
  • Work with customers, field teams and program managers across partners to ensure consistent overall program delivery for Supply Chain Solutions

Required Experiences:

  • 15+ years program management experience in a Product technology company
  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering related field of study
  • Proven experience in managing a portfolio of SW programs understanding SDLC and Agile principles and Release Management cycles.
  • Proven experience in managing and training other program management professionals
  • Experience in interacting with VPs and higher for planning, budgeting, and strategic discussions
  • Experience in playing a CATALYST role in change management
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods using tools like JIRA, Confluence, Aha
  • Thorough understanding of continuous improvement principle and techniques
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross functional teams to deliver comprehensive offerings or programs to market
  • Collaborative, but confident leader who can ensure support from a diverse set of internal contributors to the overall mission of building a robust, external developer community
  • Technical expertise sufficient to enable thoughtful solutions to problems in the developer community context
  • Strong interpersonal, team and client relationship building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly presentation experience to senior levels of management
  • Ability to explain the business and technical value of a solution offering to an audience mix of technical and non-technical customer or partner representatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work, work independently and within ambiguity, produce deliverables, establish realistic goals and deadlines and manage changing priorities

Preferred Experiences:

  • Understanding of Blue Yonder's or competitive supply chain solutions
  • Experience with machine learning and AI systems
  • Master's degree in business or engineering related field of study

The salary range for this position is $119,254- 172,873

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
