THE ROLE:

Do you want to drive the future of computing? AMD is looking for a key leader in the Product Management organization - one who is responsible for defining and driving the next generation of AMD Server processors. In this highly collaborative role, you will work with technologists, engineering leaders, and key influencers at partner companies to build our next-generation solutions. You'll be responsible for crafting the product vision and evangelizing that vision internally and externally - ultimately launching a product that lives up to the goals you set!

THE PERSON:

We are looking for a highly skilled & results-driven Product Marketing & Management professional for EPYC product line. In this role, you will drive market analysis, customer insights, product positioning, go-to-market strategies including launch messaging for EPYC products. Your deep understanding of the server hardware market and ability to deliver on both technical and business objectives will be key to the success of this role. Unwavering customer focus, high attention to detail, the ability to assess the outbound quality of collateral and assets, and excellent communication skills both written and oral is critical.

Candidates are encouraged to have significant experience in the following areas:

  • Product - ability to understand a server product, articulate its value proposition, and effectively communicate to partners and customers.
  • Business - analyze markets, build business cases, understand challenges and formulate, drive marketing campaigns.
  • New Product Introduction - formulate & write product launch and campaign messaging.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ownership of a product within the Server Business Unit with responsibility for go-to-market strategy, execution and revenue generation
  • Collaborate with sales & segments to enable effective product positioning, messaging and sales enablement.
  • Develop plans & messaging for product launches. Lead product launch initiatives, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams and successful product adoption.
  • Build tight working relationship with customers and partners to enable successful sell through of server products
  • Support sales team with training and marketing collateral, helping them articulate the value of the product effectively.
  • Leading product migration across multiple generations supporting consistent share growth in selected vertical markets.
  • Representing AMD's interests in discussions with key customers & partners

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, product management or a related role with focus on server hardware products.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching server or high-performance computing products
  • Experience developing and executing strategic marketing plans and go-to-market strategies.
  • Core expertise in servers including processor, platform, systems, solutions, and software technologies.
  • Outstanding communication skills to convey concepts and recommendations from C-level executives to working level peers.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
