THE ROLE: Senior Business Analyst, Enterprise Digital Solutions

The Senior Business Analyst, Enterprise Digital Solutions role at A+E is part Business Analyst, Scrum Master, and Project Manager. You will be primarily responsible for analyzing and documenting requirements, and managing the implementation through development, testing and deployment for a wide range of enterprise applications. The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with business groups such as Corporate Brand Strategy, HR, remote employees, Corporate Communications, Ad Sales, Executive Administrative Assistants and our Employee Resource Groups as well as technical teams like QA, Development, and 3rd party technology vendors. The Senior Business Analyst should have a thirst for learning, a high technical aptitude and strong communications skills. They should be able to identify synergies across our digital products and platforms and be able to support a portfolio of applications and projects as an integrated whole.

MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Business Analysis

  • Responsible for requirements gathering, analysis and writing functional documentation for employee intranet, email applications, event applications and MS Office applications.
  • Provide detailed analysis of business requirements, processes and workflows to design and develop business and technology solutions
  • Ensures business requirements are understood and documented, agreed to and signed off by all stakeholders
  • Liaising between Vendors, IT customers and Business groups to identify application enhancements and improvements
  • Working closely with technical team (developers, operations, database engineers, etc.) to ensure they understand the business analysis functional requirements
  • Testing of software, identifying issues and gaps from requirements, and facilitating user testing
  • Coordinating medium-size projects to ensure multiple parties understand what they need to do and when they need to do it by
  • Staying current on vendor software roadmaps to understand the value new features may provide and how they can be leveraged within our ecosystem

Project Management

  • Ensure that programs, initiatives & projects are delivered on-time. Manage risks appropriately & plan proactive mitigation
  • Regular status reporting, including but not limited to project & support status, to IT leadership and business stakeholders
  • Alerts manager to potential risks and issues of importance

Application Support

  • Work closely with business teams and technology operation team(s) to provide support for existing Enterprise Digital systems
  • Ensure that repeat defects, break fixes are minimized & focus on analysis and provide recommendation for avoiding common issues

YOUR STORY: [+BEHAVIORS] (what you need to have)

  • 5+ years of IT Business Analysis experience
  • 1-2 years working in an Agile development environment
  • Experience supporting full-stack digital technology websites and applications, including basic understanding of CSS, HTML, CMS, CDN, performance testing
  • Experience writing user tip sheets and instructions
  • Excellent analytical, communication (both verbal and written), facilitation/organizational skills.
  • Strong Microsoft excel or similar tools experience
  • Experience managing MS SharePoint at the enterprise level
  • Experience with enterprise-level email applications for both external and internal email applications
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional business and technical teams
  • Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to apply technology solutions to solve business problems
  • Highest level of ownership, accountability & integrity
  • High level of curiosity, engagement and be willing to go the extra mile to accomplish your goals

EXTRAS: (Preferable Skills & Experience)

  • Video technology experience
  • Television industry experience
  • Some SQL or understanding of relational databases
  • Database reporting
  • Some website analytics experience (eg. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
  • Experience leveraging Generative AI solutions
Compensation Annual Pay Range: $113,006 - $132,217 Annual Incentive Target: 12.50%

Theannual/hourly pay range displayed serves as agood faith estimate of the

minimum and maximumbasepayrangefor this role.Compensation for the role will

be based ona number of differentfactors such asa candidate's qualifications, skills,
