Summary

As a Quality Engineer, you will ensure products and services meet customer expectations. You'll identify quality issues, enhance control processes, and drive continuous improvement. Your goal will be to maximize customer satisfaction while minimizing quality costs by delivering high-quality products.

Primary Responsibilities

• Programming of Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to support quality control processes.
• Developing and implementing quality control plans and procedures.
• Conducting product and process audits to identify areas for improvement.
• Developing and implementing quality control plans and procedures.
• Investigating and resolving customer complaints related to product quality.
• Analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Providing training and guidance to production teams on quality control processes.

General Tasks

• Maintain strict compliance with the quality, environmental and occupational health and safety regulations and implementation of the instructions of the quality, environmental management and/or occupational health and safety officer.

Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies

• Possess a Bachelor of Science in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field, plus 1 to 2 years of related work experience.
• Have experience with quality control methods such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.
• Be able to analyze data using statistical tools and software.
• Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Possess excellent project management, analytical and problem-solving skills working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and customers
  

Travel Requirements

• Minimal travel expected to visit customers as required. Expected <20%.
• Must have a valid passport and be able to travel internationally if required.
  

Physical Requirements

• Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
