Sr. Quality Assurance Specialist

Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to work out of Kirtland AFB, NM.

Required Qualifications:



  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance on a large defense contract.
  • Strong knowledge of defense industry standards, including cybersecurity, software/hardware integration, and system testing.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard testing and audit tools, methodologies, and automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ITAR, DFARS, MIL-STD) and their impact on product development.
  • Experience managing quality metrics independently from the program office
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Engineering or Quality experience developing methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured products
  • Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test and inspection methods and able to translate into work instruction.
  • Ability to interpret Drawings, Specifications, Contracts that will enable development and review of QE Processes, and related Performance Metrics.


Education/ Certification:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
