Location: Fort Worth, TX, USA Shift: 2nd Shift Work model: On-Site Schedule: FULLTIME; Monday-Friday, 12 p.m.-9 p.m. Job overview: Schneider is seeking a Transportation Team Leader in Fort Worth to oversee all inbound and outbound activities at a distribution center. The Transportation Team Leader will lead a team of logistics associates and solve customer, carrier and personnel problems that arise. Responsibilities: Lead and coach a team of associates. Maintain positive relationships with on-site customer leaders. Monitor carrier compliance. Resolve all transportation and shipping related problems and communicate resolution plans to the customer. Implement continuous improvement processes. Make employment-related decisions. Create and maintain a high-performance environment. Skills and qualifications: Bachelor degree in transportation, logistics or a related field. Two plus years of related work experience. Have strong written and oral communication skills. Is goal-driven and motivated to reach desired outcomes. Able to positively coach, lead and influence a team. Pay and benefits: Medical, dental and vision insurance.
