Job Title: Senior IT Product Specialist
Location(s): Fairfield, CA (Remote)
Top Things:
- Broadcom experience, monitoring experience, self starter.
The Role:
- Integrate monitoring and event management tools into an Observability and AIOps platform.
- Build and improve monitoring and instrumentation to identify issues before they affect customers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Excellent communicator and collaborator with cross-functional teams such as operations, application, database and VMware support and enterprise NOC.
- Strong cross-team communication skills.
- Work independently but also with a team.
- Experience with exchanging data between applications using API's.
- Understanding of JSON and XML payloads and how to modify them to support normalizing the data between applications.
- 3 years of experience with production systems.
- Strong development and automation skills.
- Experience with Kubernetes and supporting tooling.
- Experience with Java programming languages.
- 3 years of experience with technical infrastructure (e.g., deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting).
- Experience with Linux system administration,
- BA/BS in Computer Science, IT Networking, Security, or a related technical degree,
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the building blocks of large-scale systems including load balancing, distributed/cloud computing, containers, instrumentation, and monitoring.
- Experience with monitoring and observability systems and tools (Broadcom Operations Intelligence, Broadcom NetOps, Grafana, Oracle EM, Dynatrace, PagerDuty, etc),
- Experience with Postman to facilitate development and testing of integrations.
