Job Summary:

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • CPA certifications/candidate or MBA preferred (not required)
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
  • Proficient in Office 365 (Excel, PowerBi, and SharePoint preferred)
  • Experience with SAP, Essbase, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with a large company (> $3 billion sales preferred)

  • Strong Accounting knowledge and analytical skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills
  • Prioritize and manage projects in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with all levels of Management
  • Committed and enthusiastic approach to delivering solutions to business customers
  • An established reputation for integrity
  • Hands on experience with process improvement methodologies and project management, preferred
  • Ability to foster solid business partnerships with peer management partners across multiple disciplines
  • Food Industry experience is a plus

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the processes responsible for the recognition, allocation, reporting, and analysis of purchasing volume allowances for Foodbuy
  • Manage, develop, and motivate direct report. Provide development and growth opportunities while also providing constructive feedback. Lead open two-way communication and assist in understanding how they contribute to the vision of the department and the organization.
  • Foster and build relationships with business partners within the Foodbuy and Compass organization
  • Ensure accurate and timely presentation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and the Group Accounting Manual
  • Assist with special projects as assigned
  • Monthly accounting close activities, including but not limited to: journal entries, monthly accruals, invoice processing, A/R review/clean-up.
  • Analyze client contracts for proper accounting treatment and financial impact.
  • Accurate and timely production of customer/unit level reporting for purchasing income
  • Provide standard and adhoc reporting for internal and external customers (e.g. financial packages)
  • Drive transformational process automation and improvements by partnering with Management in Accounting, Finance and Business. Understand and anticipate the business needs to support growth.
  • Understand, implement, and adhere to proper accounting controls and KFCs.
