Crissair, Inc. is looking for an experienced Controller with previous manufacturing experience to provide leadership and oversight of all financial functions.

Summary
A strong background in leadership and oversight of all financial functions for a manufacturing company. Must be collaborative, supportive, effectively communicate and be fully aligned with the CFO and local management. Must have strong IT skills with ERP systems, advanced excel skills, data analytic tools and cybersecurity awareness and automation tools to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other tasks and duties may be required as directed.
* Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
* Participate in financial forecasting models for the balance sheet and profit and loss statement.
* Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
* Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
* Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors.
* Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
* Prepare and present timely financial reports to senior management.
* Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
* Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, reception, general ledger and payroll functions.
* Monitor the annual budget and variance analysis and provide insights to senior management.
* Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets.
* Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial management.
* Responsible for forecasting, monitoring cash flow and overseeing check runs.
* Review and approve all non-purchase order invoices.
* Monitor preparation and filing of sales and use tax returns, payroll tax, W-2s, and 1099s.
* Monitor preparation of bank reconciliation and capital asset accounting.
* Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Crissair's policies and applicable laws to include conducting interviews, hiring, training, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, issuing incentive and disciplinary action, and addressing and resolving problems.
Qualification Requirements
Education/Experience
* Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university in accounting or related field; with 7-10 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
* Proficiency in preparing consolidated financial statements.
* Experience in cost accounting and inventory management.
* Exceptional leadership abilities with 7+ years of experience leading an accounting department.
* Must be proficient in PP presentations both written and verbally.
* Must be able to summarize results of Operations, B.S. and Cash flow in 25 words or less on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis with meaningful insight.
