Overview
The Biomonitoring and Aquatic Studies Section of the Rivers Program seeks a uniquely qualified water quality monitoring specialist to assist the Watershed Management Division with biological, physical, and chemical monitoring of surface waters. This position is stationed at the Vermont Agriculture and Environmental Laboratory, located in Randolph Center, VT. Some work outside regular hours is required, including field days exceeding the standard 8-hour work day and occasionally overnight trips throughout the state. This is a Limited Service position. Bachelor's degree in a biological life or physical science, natural resources field, math or engineering AND three (3) years of experience in the administration of a technical program. OR Associates degree in a biological life or physical science, natural resources field, math or engineering AND five (5) years of experience in the administration of a technical program. Two years experience as an Environmental Technician III. Total Compensation
