Position Summary: The Director, Facilities Management directs the engineering, operations and reliability of the facilities and physical plant in support of the mission of City of Hope. Scope includes oversight of clinical, research and laboratory, and GMP manufacturing facilities located on the Duarte Campus slated for growth to over 2M square feet by 2030. Develops, implements, and monitors preventative and corrective maintenance programs.Provides technical leadership and training regarding equipment operations, standards, and maintenance. Ensures preparedness for regulatory compliance including but not limited to The Joint Commission, City of Duarte, OSHPD, EPA, AQMD, etc. Coordinates with compliance leadership to ensure effective protocols and procedures are in place and organization is survey ready. In addition, serves as campus Fire Marshall and EOC participant. Responsible for ongoing assessments of all facilities as it relates to planning and forecasting of capital expenditures to maintain the facilities in order to provide a safe, healthy, and comfortable environment for patients, visitors, physicians, faculty and staff . Responsible for the development of standards and specifications to insure integration to all major capital development in a coordinated and effective manner. Assists in the Master Planning of facilities to identify opportunity and influence broader capital decision making. Responsible for implanting City of Hope's Energy Management Plan ("EMP") including the identification and implementation of efficiency and sustainability initiatives reducing utility consumption, creating resiliency on campus and setting the organization up for efficiencies in the future. Additional Information: Job Status: Full time, exempt Salary range $164,465 - $274,664 City of Hope employees pay is based on the following criteria: work experience, qualifications, and work location.
