Job Description: Position Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) to join our Financial Risk Management team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the financial services industry, preferably with large banks, and possess excellent communication and leadership skills. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage AML/KYC projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational goals. Develop and implement project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including compliance, risk management, IT, and business units, to ensure successful project delivery. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project risks. Provide regular project updates to senior executives and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project status, issues, and risks. Ensure compliance with AML/KYC regulations and internal policies throughout the project lifecycle. Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, ACAMS) preferred. Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on AML/KYC. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects within a banking environment. Strong understanding of AML/KYC regulations and best practices. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior executives and stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
