ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Strategic Project Management & Execution

• Lead the planning, execution, and tracking of high-level technical and strategic initiatives across all three affiliates as requested by the CEO
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring cross-functional teams remain aligned on goals and deadlines
• Drive collaboration across the organization's affiliates to facilitate knowledge sharing, resource alignment, consistent execution, and impact
• Anticipate potential challenges and risks associated with strategic projects and develop proactive mitigation plans

Executive Support & Research

• Conduct background research and analysis on industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions.
• Prepare executive-level materials, presentations, proposals and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the CEO in organizing and synthesizing technical content for board meetings, industry engagements, and leadership discussions.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work with leadership across the organization to ensure alignment on key projects and priorities.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams, policy groups, and external partners to drive coordinated action.
• Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, board members, partners, and industry influencers.
• Support organizational change as necessary to ensure the successful implementation of initiatives and projects.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, other STEM subject, business administration, public policy, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in project management, strategy, or operations, preferably in mobility, standards development or engineering society organizations.
• Strong experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex technical projects.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to synthesize technical content into executive-level communications.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate degree in business administration, engineering, or a STEM related field.
• Experience working with not-for-profits, industry associations, or multi-affiliate organizations.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma), or willing to attain within the first year.

• Ability to work for long periods at a computer/desk
• Standard office environment
