A few details about the role:

• Receive, prioritize, and manage work orders to ensure timely and effective maintenance response. Track progress and completion of maintenance activities.
• Track inventory of necessary maintenance supplies and equipment. Order and replenish materials as needed to support ongoing operations.
• Receive estimates on approved projects, organize via spreadsheet and submit project through system in accordance with company protocols.
• Coordinate and schedule repair activities to minimize downtime and disruption to plant operations.
• Support the director with contractor communications and coordinating service providers to schedule maintenance and repair activities.
• Assist in maintaining a preventive maintenance schedule to ensure timely completion of routine tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, supply usage, contractor engagements, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Assist in departmental maintenance activities to comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards. Promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.

• Experience in administrative support or similar field.
• Familiarity with scheduling and management software and tools.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and preventive maintenance practices.
