  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards for development and manufacture of composite products.
  • Lead project team efforts to devise and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating components.
  • Lead Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Design of Experiment (DOE) activities enabling process control and capability improvements.
  • Design and specify inspection/test methods and equipment supporting Measurement System Analysis yielding repeatable and reproducible measurement systems.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance control plans and perform statistical analysis (SPC) for development & production programs.
  • Initiate and sustain MRB (Material Review Board) and Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) processes to support Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Perform and support internal and external product, process and system audits.
  • Interfaces with Customers to resolve Nonconformities/Complaints and/or to Continuously Improve partnership.
  • Interfaces with Suppliers to resolve Nonconformities/Complaints and/or to Continuously Improve partnership.
  • Leads the APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) of NPI (New Product Introduction) projects.

Knowledge:



  • BS Engineering (BS ME, IE or ChemE preferred)
  • 5 - 10+ years experience in aerospace quality/manufacturing industry
  • Experience in ISO 9001/AS9100/NADCAP Quality Assurance Systems Requirements and application of LSS tools considered a plus.
  • 2 - 3 years experience in Customer/Process/Supplier Quality Management preferred.


Skills:



  • Definition of fundamental product/process design (DFM/DFA), risk assessment (FMEA) and control plans.
  • Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
  • Measurement and test methods supporting GD&T & metrology techniques.
  • Statistical analysis (JMP, Minitab) skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Quality system, process & product auditing.
  • MSOffice proficient (Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Visio skills required).
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.
  • Customer/Process/Supplier Quality Management experience.
