Job Title: Network Engineer
Location(s): Freehold, NJ
Job Duties:
- The Network Trunk Provisioning team is responsible for the DS0 trunking network. client is in the process of modernizing our networks to enable new, groundbreaking products and technologies. The candidate will provide training to NTP team members on both existing TDM switch infrastructure and new switch technologies being deployed (Ribbon C20/G6/G6), as well as related VzT systems and procedures.
Responsibilities include:
- Facilitate and track the training requirements/progress of new NTP team members.
- Provide training on switch equipment, VzT systems and processes.
Must Have Skills:
- Candidate must have strong knowledge of voice switching network and technologies (Nortel DMS, Client 5ESS, Siemens, Ribbon G6/C20).
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work closely with internal teams for the training on build, test and turn up of T1s and DS0s.
- Knowledge of systems (Access Client, WFA, TIRKs, BDMS).
- Ability to adapt to changing environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Google Suite.
- Proficiency with Microsoft systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Education:
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree or five years relevant experience in switching, transport and NTP processes and procedures.
