Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security protocols, risk management, and compliance, along with a comprehensive understanding of program security requirements. As a Contract Program Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the protection of sensitive information, maintaining compliance with regulations, and fostering a secure environment for our organization's projects and programs.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Conduct visitor controls for incoming Special Access Program (SAP) cleared visitors.
- Complete visit requests through appropriate systems and update profiles to accurately reflect read-in status.
- Prepare all permanent, visitor, and temporary security badges for all personnel and visitors.
- Maintain Entry Access List (EAL) and/or Alarm Authentication List (AAL) and present to GSO for approval.
- Prepare and submit Unescorted Entry Authorization Certificate for Restricted Area Badges.
- Maintain Defense Information System for Security (DISS) accounts and audit DISS personnel reports for SCI reinvestigations/proper DISS Squadron ownership/stagnant SCI reinvestigations (no movement over 120 days).
- Assist with and submit all documentation for SCI and SAP prescreening questionnaire, eligibility, indoctrination, retention, and debrief and report the findings to Government Security Officer (GSO).
- Initiate/Brief reinvestigation procedures and guidelines.
- Assist and review profiles before submission to Internet Protocol (IP) office.
- Assist with collateral, SCI, and SAP security incidents and present final incident report to the GSO.
- Explain/review intent to marry U.S. citizen/intent to marry foreign national notification and Periodic Assessment Special Agreement Check (SAC-86C) for GSO approval.
- Maintain calendars/folders/databases/memorandums/binders and report the findings.
- Provide quarterly SF 311, Agency Security Classification Management Program Data to IP office.
- Assist in preparing SAP Format 5 (Inadvertent Disclosure) documentation in the event of unauthorized classified disclosure to an unclear individual.
- Prepare and submit SAP pre-screening questionnaire (PSQ) Templates 1 through 5 and SCI equivalent forms.
- Conduct/document all training for new personnel.
- Assist GSO in preparing briefings.
- Create/adjust Security section of the Mission Inspection Compliance Team (MICT) to support operations group for approval by the GSO
- Manage courier letters and brief courier policies and procedures.
- Brief escort policies and procedures per event. Brief information security policies and procedures, as requested.
- Prepare, maintain, and communicate IP or Access Point (AP) adverse reporting.
- Maintain NATO (secret) records for all members as well as debriefs in accordance with Wing IP guidance.

Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Possess in-depth knowledge of security frameworks, regulations, and standards.
- Proficiency in security tools, technologies, and best practices to safeguard sensitive information and digital assets.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex security risks and recommend effective solutions.
- Excellent attention to detail

- Possess extraordinary organizational and communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required in related discipline or experience in lieu of education.
- Five (5) years of experience working in a Top Secret (TS) Special Access Required/Special Access Program (SCI) facility, preferably within a government contractor role.
- CPSO or Computer Systems Security Officer (CSSO) security training/certificate(s).
- Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) Facility Security Officer (FSO) Program Management for Processing Facilities certificate, and Computer Security (COMSEC) courses.
- Must have an Active Top Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Access control database experience preferred.
