Job Summary - Director, Financial Services
Reporting directly to the Market Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Director, Financial Services is responsible for Financial Reporting operations including monthly, quarterly and year end processes, and works closely with the CFO on all aspects of the financial operations of the facility, providing support for strategic planning, financial oversight, and financial leadership. The Director, Financial Services will act as a key resource to assess the financial condition of the hospital and enable the successful attainment of the hospital's operational and strategic goals and initiatives in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The incumbent will be responsible to provide overall planning and objectives for each hospital leadership team, while monitoring financial performance.AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:Directly supervises and coordinates the activities of financial analysts. These activities include preparation, analysis and presentation of financial information for economic justifications, pricing studies and service line reporting. Operating Budget preparation and variance analysis for the hospital. Reports to the Market Chief Financial Officer.
