JOB PURPOSE:

As the Programming Coordinator for Midco Sports, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and scheduling content for our television networks and streaming services. This role involves working with various teams and partners to ensure high-quality programming and smooth operations across all platforms.

This is a 30-hour per week position and is eligible for full-time benefits.

KEY FUNCTIONS:



  • Create short and long-term programming grids for consistent planning purposes.
  • Work with cross-functional departments to coordinate commercial and sponsorship formats for live events, tape-delay events, and other programming for linear television and streaming.
  • Communicate guide scheduling internally and externally for multiple output mediums, including team members and website updates using provided backend tools.
  • Provide programming alerts to all internal and external affiliates in case of necessary changes to programming and live events.
  • Assist with the acquisition, planning, and development of local programming for Midco Sports, including local and syndicated programming for Midco Sports, as well as programming feeds from networks and away sporting events produced outside of Midco.
  • Responsible for Midco Sports streaming and digital distribution scheduling and quality control.
  • Assist customer support teams with linear and/or streaming programming-specific issues or questions from partners and customers.
  • Responsible for contract fulfillment when programming is involved.
  • Compile timely, comprehensive, and accurate reports as requested.
  • Adhere to Midco privacy guidelines to ensure each customer's privacy.
  • Follow and serve as a role model in displaying Midco's Core Values and Leadership Success Drivers.
  • Maintain regular attendance to be available for your team and as required by your position.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal teammates and external partners and customers.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:



  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of two years Programming experience preferred.


WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL & MENTAL QUALIFICATOINS:



  • The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
  • Employees may be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey information internally and externally
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy with programming, scheduling, and reports.
