Overview

BAI, a Defense contractor, is seeking developers with 10+ years of DevOps experience to create, enhance, support and maintain pipelines and systems experience for a Department of Defense (DoD) program at the Naval Base Point Mugu located near Camarillo, CA. Salary

The typical annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 USD to $150,000.00 USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.



Responsibilities

    NGMPS CI/CD Pipeline Support
  • Provide support for the CI/CD pipeline directed and managed by our Agile processes
  • Create, manage and maintain pipelines and automation tooling
  • Establish and automate control gates for automated builds
  • Create and maintain pipeline reporting mechanisms
  • Support all aspects of a modern pipeline such as continuous build, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment of software
  • Pipeline Tools
  • Provide support for the design, development, installation and upgrade of development, support and tools as directed while following processes and procedures
  • Analyze, design, develop, and deliver tools
  • Analyze existing tools and identify recommended solutions to designing new test tools or upgrading new tests to meet emerging or changing requirements
  • Provide pipeline tools support documentation
  • CI/CD Pipeline Automation
  • Provide support for the implementation of automation within the CI/CD pipeline as directed and follow processes and procedures
  • Support automation to the extent possible of test scripts, cybersecurity scans, and pipeline control gates
  • May supervise computer programmers


Qualifications

  • Over 10 years of experience performing the duties described in the functional description
  • Experience with Git, Docker, and Jenkins
  • Experience with Visual Studio development environment software
  • Experience with Microsoft and Linux operating systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening-for staff, customer and organizational level communications, both formal and informal
  • Ability to work independently; self-starter
  • Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

Education:

  • BS or BA degree in a Computer or Information Science field or a relevant technical discipline
  • ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional 6 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree, or 4 additional years of work experience with a relevant associate degree

Clearance:
Condition of employment - must be able to acquire and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.

Citizenship:
The applicant must have US citizenship at time of application.
