Summary:The Data Scientist Intern will have the opportunity to work closely with Sales, Customer Service and Corporate Account Teams in development of actionable projects and useful tools to improve processes and efficiencies to drive profit generation. The ideal candidate will be able to handle and develop multiple projects while meeting deadlines. Knowledge and willingness to utilize tools associated with artificial intelligence platforms is a plus. The ideal candidate will be detail and deadline oriented.

Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Create new pricing calculators/methods by utilizing power applications, artificial intelligence and in conjunction with business strategy/finance.

  
  
• 
  

  Assist in development of automated product quotation system for customer service department ensuring correct pricing is applied consistently.

  
  
• 
  

  Analyze and support improvements in order and inventory management process for a specified business line.

  
  
• 
  

  Utilize available application tools to pull field data for AI generated reporting.

  
  
• 
  

  Execute other projects and duties as may be assigned related to business analytics and process efficiencies.

  
  
• 
  

  A project review presentation will be given to peers and management at the end of the internship to showcase your contributions as an intern.

  
  

Requirements:

• 
  

  Student working towards a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or similar data analytics field.

  
  
• 
  

  Must have completed 2 years of course work and maintained a 3.0 or above GPA

  
  
• 
  

  Working knowledge of MS Office, visual basic, data visualization training (SQL, Python or R/R studios)

  
  
• 
  

  Strong analytical skills

  
  
• 
  

  Ability to work with Power Automate and Power Apps
