Your role

As the Senior Consultant, IT ServiceNow your expertise will drive business innovation and transformation within Vantive. This role will deliver solutions to support the Vantive spin-off program and ongoing operations post-separation. The initial responsibility will be to lead a third-party solution integrator to clone a ServiceNow instance, reintegrate it into the Vantive ecosystem, clean unrelated data, and configuration. You will be responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of the ServiceNow Platform, ensuring its alignment with the company's strategic goals and objectives. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, adaptive learning, leadership, and empathy to create an environment that fosters collaboration and innovation.

What you will be doing

  • Lead a third-party solution integrator to clone a ServiceNow instance, reintegrate it into the Vantive ecosystem, clean unrelated data, and configuration

  • Lead a global team of technical resources responsible for ServiceNow operations and enhancements

  • Mature Configuration Management Database (CMDB) capabilities through system integration, workflow automation, and process optimization.

  • Provide tool agnostic expertise in IT processes including IT Service Management, HR Service Delivery, Strategic Portfolio Management, Project Management, IT Asset Management, and IT Operations Management

  • Develop the ServiceNow Platform strategic roadmap, providing subject matter expertise and maximizing platform return on investment.

  • Lead the development and implementation of technologies for automating service management processes, focusing on enhancing quality, security, compliance, speed, and operational efficiency within the ServiceNow Platform

  • Define and mature the development, test, release, and support processes for the ServiceNow Platform

  • Managing the monitoring and alerting systems to track the performance and health of the ServiceNow Platform and integrated applications

  • Empathize with ServiceNow customers to identify needs and implement solutions through processes and technology within the ServiceNow Platform

  • Ensuring the security of the ServiceNow Platform and integrated applications by implementing best practices, such as secure coding, encryption, and access controls

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, MIS, or equivalent experience.

  • 10+ years of experience in engineering or related technology roles, with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow Platform administration

  • Experience with automated testing frameworks within the ServiceNow Platform

  • Experience with work management, collaboration tools, and version control systems within the ServiceNow Platform

  • Experience with monitoring and alerting systems within the ServiceNow Platform

  • Experience delivery solutions in a highly regulated global business environment

  • Ability to collaborate and hold multiple service providers accountable for delivery

  • Experience negotiating contracts with vendors desired

  • Previous large transformation program experience desired

  • Experience in leading and mentoring ServiceNow Platform engineers preferred

  • ServiceNow certifications preferred

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Vantive, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $144,000 to $205,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonus.
