IT Project Manager

Overview:

• Team of PMs and portfolio management. Variety of stakeholders, DevOps
• DevOps migration project. Migrating from DevOps to CICD tool
• Part of their existing pipeline project enhancing processes, frameworks, and automation
• 100% migration and planning to retrieve the existing systems.
• Migrating from Carr the Harness tool

Experience/Skills/Day-to-day:

• Communication exp working with leadership and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills, both Verbal and written
• Work on project backlog alongside the migration team
• This person should have strong communication skills and self-drive
• Due to the tech nature of the project, devOps and tech knowledge would be strongly preferred.
• Jira and Confluence are what they used internally.
• Local to Chicago, 2 days onsite a week. Strong preference. Houston can be an option for the right candidate.
• Possibility to extend beyond 6 months. Additional projects in the pipeline.
• Managed project in Dev ops will be ideal and tech knowledge would be preferred.

Top non-negotiable skills:

• Strong communication skills. Should be able to speak and present to top leadership
• Drive the project autonomously. Self-starter
• Sr project manager with Min 7-8 years of experience
• Preferred tech knowledge, along with Jira and confluence

Interview process:

• 2 rounds. Initial with Vincent
