We are committed to delivering high-quality electrical solutions with precision, reliability, and cost efficiency. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join our team. This role involves preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial, industrial, and residential electrical projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and experience in estimating electrical systems for a variety of project types. Key Responsibilities Estimate Preparation: Develop detailed electrical cost estimates for commercial, industrial, and residential projects, covering labor, materials, and subcontractor costs. Blueprint & Specification Review: Analyze electrical plans, blueprints, and project requirements to determine scope and cost. Supplier & Vendor Coordination: Obtain and evaluate competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors. Bid Development: Prepare and submit bids that are competitive and aligned with project specifications. Cost & Risk Analysis: Assess labor costs, material fluctuations, and potential project risks to ensure profitability. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to refine estimates and address project needs. Software Utilization: Utilize industry-standard estimation software and Microsoft Excel for accurate calculations. Compliance & Industry Standards: Ensure estimates meet NEC (National Electrical Code) and other relevant regulations. Qualifications & Skills Experience in electrical estimating within commercial and industrial construction (residential experience is a plus). Proficiency in estimation software (ConEst or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret complex electrical blueprints and technical specifications. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple estimates and meet deadlines. Education & Experience Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred but not required). 3+ years of experience in electrical estimating, project management, or electrical contracting.
