Preferred Qualifications |
- ITIL training and knowledge; ITIL v3 or v4 Foundations certification is highly desirable.
- At least three years of experience in development and/or administration of an ITSM/ESM platform such as ServiceNow, TeamDynamix, Cherwell, Avanti, Atlassian (JIRA), Remedy, BMC Footprints.
- Experience in enterprise reporting and data visualization applications is highly desirable.

Position Summary |
This position is responsible for the development and administration of the
EITS Enterprise Service Management platform for the University of Georgia. The Application Support Specialist for Enterprise Service Management is a critical member of the
ESM support team providing high-functioning, cross-departmental solutions in the area of IT service management, workflow, and process management systems. This position will take direction from the manager of the Collaborative Tools team, as well as provide technical mentorship and guidance to the rest of the team. This position will provide Tier 2 and 3 level support for services supported by the team. This position will also work with units all throughout campus to coordinate and collaborate on key services. This position will develop
ITSM/
ESM portals for cost recovery customers including gathering requirements, developing project plans, and developing technical solutions based on customer specifications. This position will also manage Single Sign-on for applications administered by the Collaborative Tools team.

Lead technical application development of Collaborative Tools managed systems and services:
- Modify, test, implement, and document supported enterprise service management platform.
- Develop technical solutions based on requested business requirements from cost recovery clients.
- Develop, script, and maintain API calls for advanced TeamDynamix process workflows and iPaaS.
- Contribute in the development of test plans, run tests, track results, and investigate, identify, and correct issues.
- Develop TeamDynamix customer portals.
- Follow processes and procedures for planning and implementing changes into production.

- Evaluate platform patch notes and system upgrades and communicate changes to the Collaborative Tools leadership team.
- Ensure that appropriate system management procedures are developed and followed.

- Resolve operational problems and conflicts for 24/7 availability of systems, when appropriate.
