JOB SUMMARY Works under minimal supervision to oversee daily operations for our state-of-the-art maker space, supporting hands-on project work, research, and innovation in the new Texas Instruments Biomedical Sciences (BMES) Building, housing UT Southwestern's Biomedical Engineering Department and faculty and researchers from UT Dallas's Bioengineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Chemistry, Departments. The Biodesign Center contains an advanced 3D printing lab, precision electronics workshop, and machine shop that will be utilized by UTSW/UTD students, faculty, and staff. BENEFITS
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Required
Bachelor's Degree in biomedical, mechanical, electrical engineering or a related field
3 years of related experience in biodesign research and/or technology development projects Additional work experience may be considered in lieu of stated minimum education on a year-for-year basis. JOB DUTIES
