Overview
The Vermont Department of Liquor and Lottery is looking for a Warehouse Specialist to work in Montpelier. This position features warehouse work involving shipping and receiving fragile alcoholic beverage cases and related items in a central warehouse for the Division of Liquor Control using a computerized warehouse management system. Specific duties will vary according to assignment, and typically include operating a forklift or order picker, counting and inventory control, loading 40-50lb cases of product, packing split cases, performing stage audits, occasional special order delivery, setting up agency stores and other duties. Duties are performed under the supervision of the Liquor Warehouse Supervisor. Who May Apply

Duties are performed in a temperature-controlled warehouse. Incumbents preferably should possess a valid driver's license. Incumbents are required, on a daily basis, to pick 600-1000 cases of liquor from stacked warehouse stock and to lift, by hand, boxes weighing 40-55 pounds. Minimum Qualifications
