Hospital Ambassador Responsibilities:
Maintain clean, safe, and uncluttered hospital lobbies and public areas in compliance with infection control standards.
Respond promptly to patient requests for escort or assistance.
Provide accurate and service-oriented responses to inquiries via patient information telephone lines while maintaining confidentiality in line with HIPAA guidelines.
Collaborate with volunteers to ensure patients, families, visitors, and staff receive timely and helpful support.
Initiate emergency codes and actively participate in emergency procedures, including drills.
Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the Hospital Ambassador role.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Experience
Customer service experience required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Basic computer skills required to access patient information through Epic.
- Adheres to all I CARE Standards.
- Able to effectively and professionally communicate with a diverse population.
- Able to problem-solve and escalate matters to departmental leadership as appropriate.
