We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Lead. The ideal candidate will be able to obtain a deep understanding of Energy Market-specific processes and engage in optimizing and automating these. This role involves rebooting, rethinking, redefining and refining processes to enhance efficiency, implementing automation across all products (including new once), and ensuring seamless operation.

What you will do

  • Use your obtained knowledge of Energy Market-specific processes to identify opportunities for optimization through automation, ensuring that solutions are aligned with data centricity as a strategic goal.
  • Conduct detailed analyses of current workflowsand pinpoint areas for improvement and efficiency gains and where new revenue streams could be created in the business.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholdersto design and implement enhancements to existing processes and products, across the portfolio in the Energy area.
  • Innovate and redesign processesto facilitate comprehensive automation solutions across all energy products, prioritized in the impact value on solutions.
  • Drive the implementation of advanced automation technologies to ensure a smooth integration into operations, to ensure the value creation for the business units.
  • Make informed, data-driven decisionsto further refine and boost automation and operational efficiency, when working collaboratively with diverse teams.

How you will succeed in your role

  • Demonstrate Expertise:In leading development of digital solutions to improve engineering workflows and ensuring effective implementation.

  • Team Management: Effectively collaborate and lead various development teams with resources sourced from departments around the company to ensure uniform adoption.

  • Analytical Skills:Apply your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address areas for improvement in existing processes.
  • Associated skills could include knowledge about databases, data management, understanding of data security and privacy regulations.
  • Collaboration:Foster excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive automation initiatives.
  • Associated skills could include agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Adaptability:Remain adaptable and demonstrate resilience in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing changing priorities and challenges.
  • Technical Knowledge:Optimize product automation using software development.
  • Associated skills could include automation process design, CI/CD, programming (Python, C#, Dynamo, JavaScript/TypeScript, Shell scripting).
  • Data-Driven Decisions:Make data-driven decisions in collaboration with other key stakeholders to enhance automation and operational efficiency, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Our mission is to digitally enable and co-create with Ramboll's experts on their digital journey. We implement and develop proprietary AI and digital products for Ramboll and our clients, guided by our product life cycle. Additionally, Ramboll Energy undertakes large-scale technology projects within Ramboll and provides world-class Technology Operations.
