As Paid Family Medical Leave (PFML) and state mandated disability plans expand to new markets and states, as a leader in this space Protective's Employee Benefits Division via ShelterPoint is expanding our team to drive growth and protect more members. This newly created role of Lead Associate, Strategic Partnerships and Business Development will report directly to the SVP, Chief Distribution Officer, EBD.
A successful Lead Associate, Strategic Partnerships and Business Development, will lead a team and be responsible for building strategic frameworks, a long-term business plan, and overall management of National Broker Firms, General Agencies (GAs), PEOs, Carrier Partners, Payroll Firms, and other trading partners nationally to accelerate growth and build deep long term strategic relationships. The role will heavily leverage data and analytics to for the business plans and frameworks, and then execute on those plans to enable highly impactful scalable solutions and partnerships. This role will also require strong collaboration, organization, influence, listening, communication, and a passion for incremental improvement.
Responsibilities
Protective's targeted salary range for this position is $97,500 to $149,500. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, job location, skills, and experience. The range listed is just one component of Protective's total compensation package for employees.
This position also offers additional incentive opportunities through an annual incentive based on individual and Company performance.
