*Description*
This role ensures business partners are aware of and complying with U.S. regulatory and legal requirements as well as supporting critical functions such as monitoring of various risk metrics, assessing business activities for adequate implementation activities, and providing insights to various stakeholders. This requires being knowledgeable about applicable laws and regulations and have familiarity with compliance program framework methodology. This applicant demonstrates expertise in the assigned area and works independently to successfully execute key deliverables. This role may take direction from more senior positions and be assigned projects and/or tasks outside the scope of day-to-day responsibilities. What you do: *Support the on-going management of the Law Change Management compliance program. *Perform research related to industry applicable laws and regulations as assigned. *Provides company and industry knowledge and expertise to program management and oversight, projects, and tasks. *Evaluate implementation activities and controls within a discipline for compliance and take ownership of appropriate escalation. *Identify compliance related risks and support mitigation activities, where needed. *Analyze and assess program metrics and success criteria with a focus on operational improvements, emerging risks, trends, and patters that enable the company to manage its potential risk exposure. *Collaborates with Ethics & Compliance colleagues, business partners and other internal stakeholders to continually identify opportunities for positive change in how the department successfully ensures the company meets its regulatory obligations. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* *2-3 years of experience in Compliance or in Legal required. *Four-year degree or equivalent work experience. *Experience reading and applying laws and regulations applicable to Life Insurance. *Life Insurance industry experience and understanding company structures preferred. *Strong communication, organization, and execution capabilities. *Attention to detail. *Proficiency using Office 365 tools; Excel, SharePoint. *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
