Join us at Securian Asset Management (SAM) as a Bloomberg Product Owner! In this role, you'll team up with Enterprise Technology, Data & Analytics, and other key business areas to drive high quality data and tech experiences within SAM. Your mix of business savvy and technical know-how will drive optimization in Front Office investment systems, support critical projects, and maintain high quality vendor relationships. You'll report to a Product Manager, collaborating closely with fellow Product Owners to drive our Investments Product Roadmap. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Serve as Bloomberg Product Owner and other front office investment systems (Bloomberg primary focus).
  • Perform Bloomberg Admin and Support duties for our Investment Associates.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements, user success criteria, and product design goals.
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders in IT to build solutions that deliver business value.
  • Act as liaison between IT and the business to create business cases and provide support.
  • Partner with external vendors to cultivate strategic relationships.
  • Help manage and maintain a SAM Technology Needs inventory.
  • Maintain continual communication with the Product Manager and other Product Owners to update on relevant developments.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a product analyst, product owner, or product manager on technology products.
  • 3-5+ years of Bloomberg Admin & Support experience.
  • Strong understanding of Front Office / Middle Office / Back Office functions within asset management.
  • Ability to influence without authority.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate within an agile team and cross functionally.
  • Proven analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple, complex projects simultaneously, while adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong relationship building/management skills.

The estimated base pay range for this job is:

$84,000.00 - $155,000.00

Pay may vary depending on job-related factors and individual experience, skills, knowledge, etc. More information on base pay and incentive pay (if applicable) can be discussed with a with a member of the Securian Financial Talent Acquisition team.
