We are looking for a Senior Total Rewards Analyst. This highly experienced professional is a key contributor to the Talent Administration team in the execution, analysis, and administration of the credit unions Total Rewards programs. The Senior Analyst will play a vital role in the effectiveness and market competitiveness of our Total Rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, leave administration, wellness, recognition, and rewards.

What does GTE look for in a Senior Total Rewards Analyst?

Compensation Analysis & Administration:

  • Knowledgeable of the organization's Total Rewards program to support management with data analytics aligned to organizational objectives.
  • Completes market salary surveys and compiles and analyzes results.
  • Conducts annual post-merit compensation analysis for organization. Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to leadership.
  • Maintains compensation administration guidelines and salary structures, including base pay, incentive pay, and commission pay.
  • Evaluates new and existing jobs to determine FLSA status, job levels and compensation ranges.
  • Gathers and analyzes data providing relevant information/recommendations to Talent/management.
  • Formulates recommendations regarding development of company salary structure, FLSA exemptions, job revisions and organizational structures.
  • Conducts audits and analyses as needed to ensure compliance with governmental regulations.
  • Conducts analyses for a broad range of ad-hoc compensation projects supporting organizational needs.
  • Maintains compensation software data, including appropriate data matches, new/changed roles, and external survey data.

Benefits & Wellness Administration:

  • Oversees the day-to-day administration and vendor management of employee benefit programs.
  • Primary day-to-day contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and accurate information to include benefits, compensation, performance, recognition and wellness programs.
  • Maintains and troubleshoots configuration set-up of company benefit programs in Workday. Reviews and processes day-to-day benefit elections in Workday.
  • Manages projects, training and activities related to employee benefits, wellness, rewards and recognition.
  • Manages the Open Enrollment project including configuration and testing in Workday, communication development and delivery, and audits.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement of benefit plans. Analyzes employee data to identify trends and effectiveness of current programs and makes recommendations to leadership to improve existing metrics.
  • Develops and manages Wellness Calendar, coordinating activities to engage employees.
  • Responsible for the in-house administration of FMLA, STD, LTD, ADAAA, including time tracking and requests.
  • Reconciles monthly benefits invoices.
  • Assists with annual 401k Audit and administration.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and changes in relevant Benefits legislation, and conveys local, state, and federal laws to clients to maintain compliance.

Communications & Service:

  • Resolves employee issues pertaining to benefits, leaves of absence, and accommodations.
  • Presents Total Rewards at bi-weekly new employee orientation. Collects and reviews I-9 documents for new hires and submits form to E-Verify.
  • Acts as liaison with financial centers and Headquarters to facilitate wellness engagement. Recruits and leads Wellness Champions.
  • Coordinates and facilitates Total Rewards employee events and meetings.
  • Communicates Total Rewards programs to employees and managers through various channels.
  • Maintains company intranet for Total Rewards resources, legal requirements, and announcements.
  • Assists with annual edits of Wellness and Benefits Enrollment guidebooks.

Experience:

  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented and well-organized.
  • Ability to use discretion in decision-making and problem solving.

Operational:

  • Must demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act in addition to other Federal laws, including but not limited to U.S. Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Assets & Control, Anti-Money Laundering, Right to Financial Privacy Act, and the Bank Bribery Act.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5-6 years' experience in compensation and benefits administration/analysis.
  • Minimum 3 years' Workday experience preferred.
  • CCP, CBP, or CEBS preferred
  • FMLA, leave of absence, and accommodation experience preferred.

Position Details:

  • Location: Downtown Tampa - GTE Headquarters
  • Department Hours: Monday- Friday (8:00 am to 5:00 pm)

Full-time hours required, with additional hours as necessary to accomplish objectives, goals, and projects.

Work arrangement will primarily be working onsite at our HQ and sometimes remote or in the office. The position, however, is defined as hybrid in nature, (in-office, or remote) and may be changed at any time by management with appropriate notice, if possible.

Required for Remote/Hybrid Work:

  • A quiet workplace so you can focus on delivering excellent service to our members.
  • Some positions will require performance standards to be met to qualify for alternative work arrangements.
  • Required to have power and high-speed internet over 100MB (minimum).
  • Video capability (connection of 1.5 Mbps up and down recommended).
  • Candidates must provide and meet all technical requirements prior to the first day of training.
  • Hybrid candidates must live within driving distance of the office location and be able to regularly commute to and from the office location as needed.
