Description
Overview: The Corporate Account Specialist will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by providing high-level support to the sales team, streamlining sales processes, and helping identify new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales operations, be highly organized, and demonstrate a proactive approach to supporting sales initiatives and optimizing performance. CORE RESPONSIBITLIES include the following and all other duties assigned:
- Act as the primary point of contact for corporate accounts, managing day-to-day communication and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Provide strategic support to the sales team by preparing quotes, proposals, contracts, and other sales-related documents.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their business goals and needs.
- Develop and maintain sales tools, templates, and resources that enable the sales team to work more efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create customized solutions, proposals, and product offerings tailored to each corporate account.
- Conduct regular check-ins with customers to evaluate satisfaction, resolve potential issues, and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
- Process customer orders, quotes, and other requests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in managing the sales pipeline by tracking leads, opportunities, and forecasting to ensure alignment with revenue targets.
- Develop a deep understanding of the customer's business and objectives to better serve their needs.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for revenue growth.
- Provide insights and recommendations to sales team and leadership on how to optimize sales strategies and improve win rates.
- Help manage and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, customer acquisition, and revenue growth, ensuring alignment with company targets.
- Streamline and improve sales processes, from lead generation through to deal closure, to ensure efficiency and minimize bottlenecks.
- Ensure that all sales activities are documented and tracked in the CRM system (e.g., Hubspot) to maintain accurate records and reporting.
- Manage the customer onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition from initial contact to long-term relationship.
- Conduct research on market trends, competitors, and customer needs to help the sales team better understand the landscape and uncover new revenue opportunities.
- Support the development of targeted sales campaigns and strategies designed to increase revenue within key verticals or customer segments.
- Provide ongoing feedback to the sales team on customer pain points, preferences, and buying behaviors to tailor sales approaches for maximum impact.
- Coordinate with finance and operations teams to ensure accurate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules to meet customer expectations and revenue goals.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of customer presentations, product demos, and other sales-related meetings as needed to support revenue opportunities.
- Mentor and train junior sales support staff on best practices for process efficiency, sales tools, and revenue generation tactics.
- Source product request from suppliers through various channels.
- All other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales support, sales operations, or related roles, with a proven track record of contributing to revenue growth.
- Experience working with sales teams in a B2B or enterprise sales environment.
- Knowledge of revenue forecasting, sales pipeline management, and performance metrics.
- Familiarity with automation tools or sales performance analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of the sales lifecycle and how sales support functions impact overall revenue.
- Proficient in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement tools.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze sales performance data and provide actionable insights to drive growth.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations.
- Proactive and results-oriented, with a focus on driving efficiency and revenue.
Pay Range: $24.00/hr - $25.00/hr Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, skills, work experience and certifications. You may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive bonus.
