  • Start Date: Mid-May with positions available through the summer season

Why Work with Us?

Golf groundskeeper is an entry level position that will be involved with the daily preparations of the golf course and grounds by the hand raking of bunkers; walk-mowing greens and tees, weed eating, fly mowing, blowing, sweeping, sodding, and various other tasks.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepares greens, tee complexes and fairways for daily play by walk mowing, hand raking bunkers, weed-eating areas, edging bunkers, signage areas, landscape beds, drains and irrigation heads, fly-mowing around bunkers, hand-blowing of grass clippings and leaves, trimming irrigation heads, drains, picking up branches and trash at the driving range as well as the golf course, including trash receptacles, mulching of walk and step paths, filling divots with sand seed mix and dragging fairways throughout the course
  • Maintains equipment used in daily preparations by checking oil, gas, fluid levels; properly cleaning equipment, putting back equipment back in its proper place and reporting any problems with equipment.
  • Assists in project work and participates in construction By Preparing soil beds, sodding, seeding, digging hole for irrigation repairs, digging trenches, and installing drain tile.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED
