The Behavior Support Professional (BSP), under the supervision of a master's or doctoral level supervision provides a minimal of 70% of documented time working directly with the individual and the people providing supports. The time is used to observe, meet, train, provide demonstration; and accompany individuals on appointments or activities as needed. The BSP completes assessments, develops strategies, writes personalized Behavior Support Plans for individuals with basic to moderate behavior concerns, various levels of mental illness and cognitive functioning. This role trains and mentors the support team.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree
* 2+ years Two years' experience with developing and implementing Behavior Support Plans under the supervision of an individual with a master's degree in human services, Education, Psychology, Social Work, or Special Education
* 4 years Experience working with adults with ID and with mental health diagnosis or autism - Preferred
