Responsible for mass-production of varying models of oil-free compressors by performing and participating in component parts preparation and line assembly operations. 2nd shift Hours- Monday to Thursday- 3:30pm-2:00am Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. o Places parts in specified relationship to each other and bolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together. o Tends machines, such as hydraulic or pneumatic presses, air wrenches, or other tools to perform force fitting, fastening and/or bonding operations on the assembly line. o Various tasks including mechanical assembly, operating pressure test stands, functional testing, preparation, material handling and other related operations as required. o Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and orderly workplace. o Responsible for understanding and complying with quality policy, procedures and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, attainment of business goals and environmental well-being. o Maintaining a clean, safe and orderly workplace. o Understanding and complying with quality policy, procedures and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, attainment of business goals and environmental well-being. Education and/or Experience * High school diploma or general education degree (GED) * One to three years related experience and/or training Preferred Qualifications: (Education, Skills, Experience, and/or Languages that are nice to have but not required): o Proficient in mechanical assembly and use of hand tools and fasteners (bolts, clips, screws, adhesives). o Familiar with hydraulic and pneumatic machines and other assembly tools. o Strong attention to detail for accurate placement and fastening of parts. o Knowledge of safety protocols and maintaining a clean workspace. o Understanding of quality policies to ensure product standards and customer satisfaction. o Able to troubleshoot minor assembly issues. o Physically capable of lifting, standing for long periods, and performing repetitive tasks.
