The Stellantis Infotainment / Connected / Access Vehicle Team is revolutionizing the vehicle ownership experience through the invention of software products delivered to our customers through a variety of digital touchpoints including mobile apps, websites, and in-vehicle infotainment systems.

The team is seeking candidates that will be responsible for Infotainment, Connected Services, Vehicle Access, Start, & Security voice of the customer (VoC) development, customer functional objectives target setting, and feature test plan creation.

The Feature Specialist will support the vehicle integration and validation process by owning and maintaining functional objective library, creating test plans and procedures, supporting tech club, and working alongside the cross functional teams to develop new features within their domain. The Feature Specialist also support the Platform Engineers in triaging issues found on vehicle that fall into their domain as well as support any required ride and drive events. They will define and describe both functional and dysfunctional behavior, perform appropriate risk analysis (HARA) and be responsible for writing end-to-end test plans. The specialist will also lead benchmarking activities for their domain.

FOTA, Vehicle Access/Start, Vehicle Security/Theft, Remote Operations, Regulatory/Safety, Connected EV, SPaaK, Data Collection, Navigation, Driving Experiences, e-Mobility

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related degree field
  • Three years of engineering experience in automotive industry
  • Strong desire to understand customer wants and vehicle development program
  • Demonstrated communication skills (written and oral)
  • Strategic thinker
  • Strong understanding of operational architecture, defining use cases, vehicle and software life cycle
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to summarize and present work
  • Proven ability to deliver in a fast-paced work environment with minimum assistance
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time (development trips, VoC events, support events, rides...etc.)
  • Experience with vehicle connectivity design and/or testing


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited university
  • Working knowledge of FMEA, design validation (DV) and process validation (PV) (DVPR), and test planning
  • Three years of vehicle integration and validation experience or equivalent
  • Previous experience in feature design, system design or integration
  • DFSS Green Belt
