Recurrent Exempt Staff Lubbock 40276BR Position Description A job involving an appointment for infrequent temporary work where the employee is called in as needed. Major/Essential Functions Maintain Up-to-date documentation in accordance with standard laboratory practice and TTUHSC rules and regulations. Responsible for ensuring supplies with expiration dates are ordered at appropriate times and in adequate quantities to avoid waste. Ensures working conditions of all essential laboratory equipment, including freezers, fridges, incubators, gas cylinders, liquid nitrogen storage, and others as designated by the PI. Safeguard research resources (cells, samples, and other perishables) in case of malfunction. Take appropriate measures to remediate malfunctions while working with the department's equipment technician. Responsible for experimental results that are reproducible and can be interpreted. Ensure that the analyzed experimental data is accurately presented in summaries. Maintain a safe and clean laboratory as well as organize appropriate contents on a day-to-day basis. Ensure the Laboratory is stocked with necessary supplies and consumables for uninterrupted functioning. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in one of the sciences.
