*The target start date for this position is March 24, 2025.* *Job Summary:* * In this role, you will handle a high volume of inbound calls from borrowers, insurance agents, and financial institutions regarding homeowners insurance inquiries. * This role offers $17/hour and is a complete onsite position at Troy, Michigan. *Key Responsibilities:* * Manage an average of 35-45 inbound calls per day, addressing customer inquiries and concerns related to payment and coverage questions. * Engage with borrowers, insurance agents, and financial institutions effectively. * Utilize various systems to research and document customer interactions accurately and timely. * Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving issues efficiently and professionally. * Meet or exceed quality and customer satisfaction standards. * Develop strong problem-solving skills to handle complex issues and escalate as necessary. *Must Have:* * At least 1 year of recent customer service experience (call center experience preferred; front desk/admin experience may be considered). * Proficiency in using a Windows PC and navigating software systems (easy to learn). * Typing speed of at least 35 WPM. * Strong verbal and written communication skills (this role involves heavy phone and email correspondence). * Reliable transportation. * No time off will be permitted during the first 4 weeks of employment. *Nice to Have:* * 2+ years of call center experience. * Experience in insurance or mortgage industries. *Ideal Candidate:* * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to multitask and efficiently navigate multiple systems. * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. * Experience handling high-volume phone calls in a fast-paced setting. * Team player with a positive attitude under pressure. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
