We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious Senior Proposal and Marketing Specialist to join our team! As the Senior Proposal and Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective business strategies together with our Business Development and Project Leadership teams. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday. (Hybrid/Flexible schedule to work remotely in the office and from home up to two days a week)

Job Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Supports proposal development activities such as:

    • Write/develop proposals and respond to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs from beginning to end using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe, following established procedures
    • Review the RFP/bid requirements against the proposal contents to ensure both compliance and responsiveness to the customer's issues and needs
    • Proofread, edit, and format proposal narratives, elements, and visual aids
    • Prepare required proposal documents and forms
    • Support multiple proposals simultaneously, including analyzing requirements, editing team contributions, coordinating logistics, and complying with specifications and deadlines
    • Maintain PSC's accounts within customer sourcing platforms (i.e., Ariba, Power Advocate)
    • Maintain a proposal library of best practice wording and guidance, as well as a database of proposal activity and client feedback, and analyze and report on activity and trends


  • Supports general business development activities such as:

    • Manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform
    • Work with the Marketing and Communications department to design and produce marketing, promotional, and business materials for website, social media and print media
    • Contribute to the development of long-range plans to meet departmental objectives
    • Participate in customer/industry outreach events to support PSC's business objectives


  • May periodically travel and work from different company locations
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Job Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English, or a related field preferred
  • Experience in a field related to inside sales, communications, marketing, business development, account management, proposals, or graphic design is preferred
  • Excellent writing skills with high attention to detail for proofreading and grammatical edits
  • Creative with a strong interest in understanding the company's business objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to show initiative and effectiveness working independently and within a team structure
  • Strong research skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, innovative, and continuously changing environment
  • Ability to perform effectively, efficiently, and with quality under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in business and technical environments
  • Must possess a high degree of professionalism and maintain high levels of confidentiality
  • Technically proficient to perform at an intermediate or advanced level with Microsoft Office Suite - specifically Excel, Word, and Power Point - and Adobe
  • 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
  • Stable work history with good references from past employers
  • Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
  • PSC is a veteran-friendly company. Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
