Postion Purpose:

Manages the delivery of digital experiences for customers. Responsible for the implementation of projects and maximizing the value of the product. Maintain subject matter expertise of digital platforms and support business partners in development. Analyze member behavior on current platforms and evaluate digital metrics. Assists with the digital experience strategy and with the organization's digital transformation efforts.

Logistics: BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina

Location: This is a full-time position working (40-hours/week) in remote environment. You will work an 8-hour shift scheduled during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need to work occasional overtime. You may be required to travel between buildings. This role is located at: 4101 Percival Road Columbia, SC 29229.

What You Will Do:

  • Partner with I/S and business units to serve as the product owner on implementation and maintenance of digital solutions. Work with internal business partners, I/S, staff, and vendors to negotiate and manage timeline and budget of digital solutions in adherence of the digital roadmap, motivating staff and partners to high performance levels.
  • Work closely with the Digital Experience design team to understand business requirements and vet the experience design prior to implementation. Collaborate with the design team throughout implementation to ensure product meets experience design standards and expectations. Lead progression of operational practices of Digital Experience team, including Design Ops and Agile practices.
  • Oversee performance of digital properties, including establishing KPIs, measuring, analyzing, and optimizing digital solutions. Monitor Voice of Customer in partnership with Customer Experience, translating into business strategies and in evaluation of implemented solutions. Responsible for reporting on digital platform metrics and marketing performance.
  • Responsible for recruiting and hiring, coaching and mentoring, monitoring and evaluation, and addressing all disciplinary issues in a timely manner. Encourage staff in creating and maintaining a work environment with a high morale and employee satisfaction through support of professional development, training, career growth, and rewarding high performance.
  • Oversee content management and governance of digital properties. Manage team responsible for executing content and digital communications strategies through web and campaign development. Serve as the subject matter expert on digital platforms, supporting business partners with development and training to support their initiatives. Maintain processes and tool support for governance, accessibility and monitoring of web properties.
  • Conduct research in order to monitor digital transformation trends, to make recommendations and encourage the digital roadmap. Collaborate with I/S partners to identify and develop solutions in support of the digital strategy. Support staff development to maintain expertise of acquired digital solutions.

Required Education: Bachelors in a job-related field.

Degree Equivalency: 4 years job related work experience or Associate's and 2 years job related work experience.

To Qualify for This Position, You Will Need:

  • Work Experience: 5 years of project management, digital marketing, digital communications, development, analytics or related oversight experience (may be concurrent). 2 years of management experience (may be concurrent) or equivalent military experience in grade E4 or above. (May be concurrent)
  • Skills and Abilities: Project management, cost management, excellent organizational, customer service, and presentation skills. Advanced proficiency in spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills. Ability to understand and use web content management systems. Ability to persuade, negotiate, or influence others. Ability to guide, direct, and assess performance of others.
  • Software and Other Tools: Microsoft Office, web content management systems and project management software.

We Prefer That You Have the Following:

  • Education: Master's degree in marketing, Computer Science, Business Administration or other job-related field.
  • Work Experience: 7 years of project management, digital marketing, digital communications, development, analytics or related oversight experience (may be concurrent). 4 years of management experience (may be concurrent) or equivalent military experience in grade E4 or above. (May be concurrent)
  • Skills and Abilities: Agile training, team management, User experience, marketing or CRM experience, voice of customer or digital consultancy. Risk management and governance, accessibility, business analytics, HTML/CSS, software development life cycle.
  • Software and Other Tools: Web Analytics (Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude), Voice of the Customer (Qualtrics), Business Analytics (Tableau, Looker, QlikSense, PowerBI), Adobe Campaign Manager, MS Dynamics .
