CAREER PROFILE -

This role is responsible for the following within the Global HR Systems and NA Payroll center of excellence:



  • Leads a high-performing team of five. Manages strategic relationships with one managed services provider for payroll (team of ~35) and two external technology partners.
  • North America payroll operations and strategic vendor management of BPO partner for payroll processing, garnishments, taxes, check printing and year-end document distribution.
  • Payroll systems (SAP/SuccessFactors employee central payroll and BPO-owned partner tools).
  • Core HR systems platform (SAP/SuccessFactors employee central, analytics, reporting, role-based permissions, and compensation modules).
  • All aspects of global HR Systems operations, including access/role-based permissions, case management, user and first-level technical support across all platforms, custom manager & pay admin training/certification, and coordination of audits/compliance with internal/external controls.



Primary accountabilities:



  • Accountable for US/CAN payroll operations including the BPO relationship and their SLA attainment.
  • Innovates, designs, and implements enhanced system and payroll operations requirements.
  • Contributes to roadmap planning and ensures near-term release management of accountable platforms.
  • Leads global projects in a collaborative, team-based environment.
  • Champions change management and training of HRIS and Payroll stakeholders.
  • Supports HR systems project delivery with testing, cutover, ongoing support/training, hypercare, etc.
  • Key participant on teams for acquisition integration and facility start-ups.
  • Consults with HR partners globally on payroll systems and operations strategies.

THE MUST HAVES

Bachelor's degree, certificate or equivalent work experience (payroll, finance, or IT preferred) and 7+ years of leadership experience in the following:



  • Experience in all aspects of payroll operations in the United States and Canada.
  • Strong HR operations and process expertise (payroll, finance, and IT preferred).
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and using external partners for work delivery.
  • Experience leading change in growing, multinational companies (manufacturing industry preferred).
  • Track record of career progression and increased scope of responsibility.
  • Global project leadership experience (payroll and/or technology implementations preferred).
